Koirasaaren Kruunukorttelit

At home in the city, and at sea

Helsinki, a maritime city shaped by centuries of craftsmanship. Continuing this tradition are the Koirasaari Kruunukorttelit, inspired by Jugend architecture. To be completed in summer 2027, Housing Company Helsingin Koirasaaren Kruunuranta offers homes where you can breathe and pause surrounded by sea views.

Koirasaari is located in the eastern part of Helsinki’s city centre, in the Kruunuvuori district. Nearly every apartment opens up to views across the water towards the heart of Helsinki and Suomenlinna.

Alongside the Forma, Flora and Fauna buildings, a fourth building will also be built within the block. This building is not part of the housing company or the apartments offered for sale. It will remain in the ownership of the developer. As the Kruunukorttelit progresses, so too will this website. For now, you’ll find essential information about the project and its current phase.

Dialogue Shapes the Design

At Koirasaaren Kruunukorttelit, the building architect and the interior architect work closely side by side. Their collaboration ensures that proportions, layouts, interior concepts and built-in furniture support one another, so the architectural idea carries from the exterior into the homes.

The result is three Jugend-inspired residential buildings, each designed as a cohesive whole. This approach is reflected in how the homes feel and function: spaces open naturally, key views and daylight are considered from the first step inside, and the finishing details follow the same clear train of thought throughout.
